Quaid E Azam was surely a wonderful personality. Coming to the comments by S_Hamid 'Zardari might be the symbol of bribery, but remember one thing, he has not been sentenced nor any case against him proven.' I would like to clarify that one of PPP representatives in a discussion at Geo TV said that during the period of jailed Zardari (12 yrs) we approached the different judges at each level in judiciary dealing with Zardari's cases & warned them all not to write any such decision which may risk their seats or lives in the times to come. So nothing could be dug out of the books of corruption/crimes against Zardari. Unluckily Pakistan's constitution is full of loopholes supporting corruption, crime & criminal. Discussing Musharraf's possible return in September 2010 it was discovered that we may charge 1000 cases on him but nothing can be dug out unless Pakistan's Constitution is straightened & loopholes removed. If this bold step is taken then probably none of the group of devils known as politicians may qualify for any election in the coming future. It maybe noted that none of the present political devils who have ruled Pakistan whether on a federal govt seat or on a provincial govt seat or on a local govt seat have ever been punished. Recently retired Ch Justice Lahore High Court Khawaja Sharif never opened the cases of political touts of PML-N during his reign as Lhr High Court Ch Justice. He has been awarded a house by the Punjab Govt. But is that justice? Now that by chance we have been able to read/comment one another's views by internet we must accept the facts. Quaid E Azam was a lovely character totally selfless & sincere towards the Muslims of India. Present political leadership lacks these properties. They can be termed as Political Devils & not leaders. 18 & 19 amendments to facilitate rule of devils were created approved & signed in no time but if it comes to the betterment of a common man these political touts are totally deaf & dumb.
Mr. Sajid, I would just like to put forth here, this would be the best thing that would happen to Pakistan, in the context to your question, Pakistan was made in the name of the Muslims of Sub-Continent. I think, and I am sure after listening to this conversation above, Quaid-e-Azam wanted us to come together as a nation and decide for ourselves as a nation how we wanted Pakistan to emerge as a country. Unfortunately we still have not come together as a nation and haven’t stopped looking for our personal interests. We are all the time pointing fingers at the Govt. although we are at fault for letting them do what they feel like. I am not talking about a revolution or bloodshed, I am talking about re-awakening of the nation of Pakistan, to come up and bring the best among themselves. Zardari might be the symbol of bribery, but remember one thing, he has not been sentenced nor any case against him proven, being dutiful and law abiding citizens of Pakistan and most of all being Muslims, it is our duty not to look at him like a criminal, unless proven guilty. We should respect the head of state and follow laws set by the State or if we think otherwise, we should bring the Govt. down to elect someone we see fit. Pakistan Zindabad.
Great subject and great insight into the founders vision. I noticed this conspiracy working, when Zardari took Quaid's pictures down and put his own family pictures up in the president's house. What a shame.
Well, I have a question if some one can reply/answer.
" When a separate homeland was demanded for the Muslims of British India India on the basis of TWO-Nation theory then why Muslim Laws (the Sharia) were not enacted on 14August,1947. Why we are carrying on the same system of government also been adopted by Hindus. Doesn't it do away with TWO-nation theory...?
